Balut

First, use a spoon to hit the top of the egg. Then feel off the top of the skin carefully because there is some soup where you must sip in first.

As the hole is big enough for a spoon to get in, start to dig in.

Putting that thing into the mouth seems disgusting, but the taste is nothing but a regular chicken meat.

Balut is common in Vietnam, there are also available in luxury restaurants.

  3. It's also a fave yet cheap delicacy among the locals in the Philippines. Still struggling to stomach the idea of eating balut though :p
