6 days to London 10k run

first time since the Penang Bridge Run back in the uni times, I will be taking part in a marathon. It will only be a 10k run but running pass through landmarks in London is going to be a great experience. Besides its a good preparation for my triathlon in the running event.

Counting down days to go home

I will be going home in the next 5 days. Going to fly with Etihad airlines this time which is the first time for me. I guess the cabin is going to smell briyani :D

Dont know why, I am craving for local food these days. I wonder if that always happens to us who are about to go home.

Lottery winning of £7.20

On that day when I managed buy the necklace in croydon, since luck was on my side, I bought a lottery number.

The ticket matched 3 numbers with the draw last Tuesday. That means I win £7.20.

Perhaps I will take that money and buy more tickets.

First time with Swarovski

My sister is getting married this March and I have to get something for her. To be honest, I have no clue about what gift a brother should buy for his sister. I searched the internet and asked some of my friends. One of them suggested Swarovski, which sounded pretty sensible to me..

So I went to its boutique in my local area, for the first time I entered the store although I have been passing it whenever I go the mall where Swarovski is located. Coincidentally, there was a sales going on and instantly one necklace caught my eye.. initially I thought it was a rabbit, but later I was told it was actually a mouse, an angel mouse in fact. I didnt buy the necklace right here and then. I left the store and went to look for something else. It was a big mistake!

30 minutes later I returned to the store and found out the angel mouse was gone! Its a shame, I should have bought it without hesitating earlier. I asked the store assistant hoping there could be one more in stock but that didnt happen. Not giving up on hope, I asked her to help me check if other branch would have it and fortunately there are 2 angel mouse necklaces at Croydon's branch.

I took the shot and headed straight to croydon by train. It was a two hour ride and I hoped the necklace would still be available when I got there. Luck was on my side that day, saw the angel mouse! Of course I learnt my mistake, I bought it immediately. Originally priced at £69, I paid just £27 for it. That is how it looks like. Hope she will like it.

since my last submission, I haven't check this site myself until today... well i am not a blogger but sometimes i want to feel what it is like to blog... so here i am but i might disappear for months again :p

maybe my life got better so there is no need for me to write something here because i could share with people i met :) in fact i dont have anything to write here as most of the entire last year was about work. Hopefully I will be getting a promotion this year... However, last christmas was enjoyable..exchanging gifts, baking turkey and making cheesecake..last but not least took responsibility to boost the country's economy :p

Haven't finished the shopping list yet as this year is my triathlon year, i need to get a road bike. Already submitted name for London Triathlon in September.
